July has been a so/so month. I generated about 5.5% the value of my portfolio. If I can keep that up the rest of the year I’ll hit 66%. It sounds exciting to make 66% interest in a year when banks will give you maybe 5% and an ISA will give you 10%. Nobody is getting rich from 66% though — unless you invest a huge amount of money. It’ll take a while for me to make significant money. But progress is good so far.

Next Steps And Growth

I have a couple friends who wanted to get in on my system — they invested £1,000 each into their own trading accounts and I have my software trade on their behalf. So far they have made about 4% profit each. They’re quite pleased with the progress.

Next step, I’m trying to find some more people to invest. I’m letting my friends benefit for free because it’s nice to have other people actually see what you can do with their own eyes. Sometimes I can’t believe myself that this is really happening. Now I have two witnesses coming along with me for the ride.

The next people who invest will need to pay a fee — I don’t want to end up paying the server fees to run traders for everyone for nothing. Plus I wrote the software so uh… I should get something. My idea is to take half the profit generated and leave it in the portfolio to grow it. The other half, I split that in two; the investor gets half and I get the other half. Plus the investor gets an ever bigger portfolio which generates ever more profit.

I’ve joined a few entrepreneur groups, venture capital groups — I even reached out to one trading company on LinkedIn. No interest whatsoever (so far). People have a hard time believing the software works. It’s hard to separate the people who just want to be pitched to and want to feel important, and the people who actually have money ready to go and would actually invest.

For the moment, I’m just collecting my profits each week and watching my portfolio grow.
