No. Just no. You don’t get to make this a women’s rights issue. A woman has the right, legally or whatever, to not sleep with anyone – of course she does – but sex is a healthy part of any normal relationship and triple that for marriage. If she didn’t want to sleep with him, what was she doing being married to him? Is she so powerful as a woman that she has the right to trap someone in a miserable sexless marriage? Not since human slavery has one individual had the right to cause such misery onto another. Yes, it’s 2021; you don’t have to sleep with anyone. But don’t expect that you can have your cake and eat if. You can’t keep a marriage going without paying into it.
